All parents of performing arts students are members of the Performing Arts Parents Association (PAPA). Our membership meetings are generally held on the first Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Band Room. All members are welcome. Our agenda usually follows the following format:
- Band Director’s Report (latest on band programs)
- Drama Director’s Report (latest on drama programs)
- Area Reports – Operations, Communications, Fundraising, Liaisons, etc…
- Treasurer’s Report (budget, etc…)
- Coming Events Report
Most of the meetings are taken up with various reports and information updates. Major decisions of the membership include elections (May) and the approval of the budget (September). Most other decisions are made by the PAPA Board.
